ReGen Powertech is the only Company to have proactively gone ahead and utilized the approval bestowed on it by the State Utility to establish 2 Nos 110 / 33 kV Pooling Substation and 1 No 230/33 kV Substation. The details are as under:
1. 2 Nos 110/ 33 kV Pooling Substation of 50 MVA capacity each, at Kandammanur & Kamatchipuram respectively in Theni District of Tamilnadu:
ReGen Powertech was the First Company in the Wind Sector to have awarded the approval to establish the above Pooling Substation under Section 10(1) of Electricity Act 2003, in the State of Tamilnadu. It had proactively ensured formulation of suitable Policy in consultation with TANGEDCO / TANTRANSCO, which also paved way for the rest of the Wind Farm Developers to get approval in similar Lines.
