ReGen Powertech 2 MW Solar Central Inverter launch

ReGen Powertech a market leader in Indian wind energy industry is all set to launch their new product the “2 MW Solar Central Inverter” on Tuesday the 12th of August 2014 at Hyatt Regency, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai. This inverter will be launched in the presence of Mr Jürgen Rinck, CEO, Vensys AG, Germany and Mr Urban Schippmann, CEO, Vensys Electrotechnik, Germany. This official launch expands ReGen’s footprint into solar inverter manufacturing and services.

The inverter, a first of its kind in India, with containerized 2MW solar PV central inverter and Water Cooling System can operate without de-rating ambient temperature up to 55°C. This tropicalized water cooled system though new to the solar fraternity, has 3 years of operating experience in Indian terrain through ReGen’s wind converters. Some of the other notable features of this inverter are: availability as containerized and indoor solution, wide MPPT range and LVRT compliance to name a few.

The 2 MW Solar Central Inverter has been engineered very similar to ReGen’s wind converter which makes manufacturing, sourcing of material and servicing very quick and efficient. These inverters will be manufactured at ReGen’s factory in Tada, Andhra Pradesh and Udaipur, Rajasthan. The services will be provided by ReGen’s 300 plus O&M site team spread across various locations in India. All the inverters will be provided with SCADA, connected with ReGen’s central monitoring network.

Fifth order from Green Infra

Green Infra is one of our largest customers and has already placed four orders with us which were already commissioned in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan States respectively.  Green Infra has now placed their fifth repeat order for installation of 49.50 MW project at Bhud site in Maharashtra.  The project comprises 33 numbers of V82 model scheduled for commissioning by 31st March 2014.  

Repeat order from Mangalore Energies

Greenko Energy, an emerging investor has placed an order with us through its SPV Company, Matrix Power.  The order comprises 10 numbers of V87 totalling 15 MW.  The project is under implementation in the client’s site in Karnataka.  Apart from the above said order, they have placed the second order with us through its SPV company, Mangalore Energies.  The order comprises 10 numbers of V87 totalling 15 MW at client’s site.

 

New order intake

A Term Sheet with WinIndia Ventures Private Limited for implementation of 6.00 MW project in Agaswadi site, Maharashtra.  The project comprises 4 numbers of V82 model.

ReGen has won Rs 278 crore order from Green Infra Limited (IDFC Private Equity) for 40 MW in Rajasthan

It is 3rd repeat order from Green Infra to ReGen. With this order total order booked with Green Infra is 110Mw in state of Tamilnadu and Rajasthan out of which 40 MW is already commissioned.

ReGen bags 50 MW power project for Bhilwara Energy Limited

ReGen Powertech has won Best PE/VC-backed Cleantech Company award at VCCircle Annual Awards 2013. The award was presented to Mr. R. Sundaresh, JMD, ReGen Powertech, at the gala ceremony held on February 20, 2013 at JW Marriott, Mumbai. The other nominees in this category were: Green Infra, Promptec Renewable Energy Solutions, Orient Green Power and Shalivahana Green Energy.

The award was bestowed to the most outstanding PE/VC-backed Indian companies that not only recorded tremendous growth in their respective industries, but also had a long-standing impact on the economy and the industry in general.

A four-member jury, comprising industry veterans, judged the winners. Arun Duggal of Shriram Capital was the chairman of the jury and the other three members were Cyril Shroff (Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff), Deep Kalra (MakeMyTrip) and Vivek Pandit (McKinsey).

The award ceremony was attended by prominent international and domestic investors, private equity fund managers, limited partners, leading Indian CEOs and also the CEOs/Managing Parters of leading investment banks, law firms and consultants.

ReGen Powertech Launches Vensys 87
