REGEN Supports Five Government Schools in Mambattu Panchayat
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, ReGen Powertech Private Limited has organized a public function at Zilla Parishat (ZP) High School in Chinna Mambattu on 27 June 2012.The event was attended by officials from the school education department of Sullurpet mandal, Panchyat Raj Institution’s (PRI) members, parents of children and ReGen Powertech officials and employees. Over 470 children were given school kits that consisted of a pair of uniform, school bag, note books, slate and geometry box as per the specific requirement of their class.
With a commitment to fostering symbiotic relationship with neighborhood communities, ReGen has been supporting community development initiatives that will have significant and sustainable impact on the quality of life of children. It is with this commitment that ReGen has been providing ReGen school kits to children since the beginning of its operations in Tada in 2008, with an objective to ensure thatchildren in Government schools attend school with dignity. Additional nutrition support is provided to reduce the impacts of malnutrition and top rankers in SSC examination are felicitated, inspiring and encouraging children.
The event also witnessed inauguration of Head Master’s Office room constructed with the support of ReGen in ZP High School.This new annex building with 15ftx15ft (inner dimension) and 16.5ftx16.5ft (outer dimension) will make available one additional class room for children of English Medium.
Top rankers in the SSC examination (2011-12) in ZP high school were felicitated during this event with a cash prize and certificate of appreciation. Chi. P Neeraja, topper of the class with 9.5 grade was given a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and Chi. V Muniraja, Chi. V Vishnu Kumar and Chi. S Sujatha who stood second with 9.2 grade received a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- each.
ReGen is committed to building a responsible and sustainable business which takes in to account the social and environment aspects in which it operates. In keeping with this ReGen has drawn up environmental and other policies that it keenly adheres to. The organization has donated furniture and equipment to schools in and around its manufacturing facility at Tada in Andhra Pradesh, thereby empowering children from the economically backward sections of society.
ReGen also supports different charitable societies and organizations that are involved with the disabled and orphans.
As a part of the corporate social responsible activities, ReGen Powertech organised distribution of Uniforms, Notebooks, Slates, Bench, Desks, and School Bags etc to the schools present at the vicinity of the factory located at TADA in Andhra Pradesh.
Members from the senior management team of ReGen Powertech participated in a function that was organised towards this purpose at the Chinna Maampattu High School and had initiated this action of social cause which was later extended to four other schools in Tada. Nearly 500 economically under privileged students from Peda Maampattu Elementary School, Chinna Maampattu Elementary School, Chinna Maampattu SC/ST Colony School and N M Ghandriga Elementary School benefited out of this social cause extended by the organisation from Chennai. ReGen also has committed to provide milk and snacks to all these children on daily basis.
Extended to these activities, ReGen also constructs class rooms, provides overhead water tank, concrete flooring, RO Plant, Bore Wells, Cooking Utensils, Steel and Wooden Doors to the desired schools. Also buildings of Chinna Maampattu Elementary School, Chinna Maampattu SC/ST Colony School and N M Ghandriga Elementary School are to be white washed by ReGen.
Mr. Sivaiah, MDO, Mr. Prakasam the Sarpanch, Mr. Bhaskar, Mandal Pradesik Territorial Counselor and Mr. Chandrasekara Reddy, Mandal Education Officer were present at the function along with Mr Asogan, and Mr. Ramakumar, VP – Operations and R&D respectively from ReGen Powertech Pvt Ltd.

Taking forward its comprehensive community development programme for Tada. ReGen Powertech distributed Note Books, uniforms , School bags etc. to nearly 500 students of Government Secondary School Mambattu (Tada Mandal) in the presence of school authorities, officials from the panchayat and local administration and residents. Besides this students securing highest marks in English & Ist & IInd Toppers were rewarded with Cash prize.

As a part of its Corporate Social responsibility ReGen distributed the uniforms, books, and other study material to a children in High school at Tada (AP).
